In the weeks following September 11, 2001, a time when much of the city was closing itself off through increased security measure, Open House New York (OHNY) was established as a counterpoint to provide a deeper look at the people, projects, infrastructure, and systems that define New York City and its future. OHNY offers year-round programming like tours, lectures, screenings, and parties, and the highlight is OHNY Weekend. It started with 84 sites in all five boroughs, and has since expanded to over 300 destinations including residential buildings, manufacturing workshops, infrastructure facilities, and performance spaces.
This year, OHNY Weekend takes place from October 17-19, 2025. While tours of many of the in-demand buildings and projects are sold out, apartment hunters can visit the residential buildings any time by scheduling a tour. Indeed, many nearby listings are located in the buildings themselves.
Boutique building The Willow is Naftali Group's newest luxury tower. The hand-laid brick facade is on the way up, and guests can view signature design elements and rapidly progressing interiors. Sales launched in April 2025, and the building is over one-third sold with occupancy estimated for 2026.
